Saturday's preliminary matches were both decided by a single goal with Beluga topping Ahmad Tea and Range Rover beating Moscow Polo. On Sunday, Hernan Traverso gave spectators a brief polo demonstration before the final between Beluga and Range Rover. Playing for Beluga was Alejandro Traverso with Rodzianko, his son Mischa and daughter Anastasia, while Range Rover had Martin Estrada, Carlos Busquet, Victor Huaco and Anastasia Huaco. Zhanna Bandurko was an alternate on the Range Rover team. In the match, the teams were tied 2-2 after two periods, but Beluga dominated the second half, silencing Range Rover while scoring three more goals for the 5-2 win. Despite a one-sided second half, both teams made end-to-end runs to keep the match exciting. Best Playing Pony went to Azul. After the match, players and celebrated with champagne and Beluga cocktails.
