USPA BULLETIN The Official Publication of the United States Polo Association NOT E S USPA FALL MEETINGS USPA's Amanda Hersey sums up the annual fall meetings in Aiken, South Carolina, covering Team USPA activities and more: The USPA held their annual fall meetings in Aiken, S.C., September 28 - October 1. Board members and committee members from around the country flew in to participate in three days of meetings and events. The headliner was the farewell of the outgoing Chairman Tom Biddle and the welcoming of incoming Chairman Chuck Weaver. Aiken is home to the Team USPA Training Center and this fall, 14 of the 31 Team USPA members were on hand to welcome the board members and USPA committee members. Team USPA players were in attendance at every event, demonstrating their gratitude for the opportunities the Team USPA program has given them. The culmination of the meeting week was celebrated by a Board of Governors polo match and oyster roast hosted by Team USPA and graciously held at Tom Biddle's polo field. The game was held in a round-robin format anchored by a Team USPA player on each of the three teams to give the governors and committee members an opportunity to see their newly acquired skills. The oyster roast afterward added to the camaraderie and is expected to become a new USPA tradition.
