NYTS qualifier tournaments are a fun way to incorporate junior members into your club and encourage cama- raderie with other players in the region. Intercollegiate/Interscholastic Attention teams: Reminder, your I/I entry fee deadline was Dec. 1, and inter- scholastic paperwork deadline is Dec 13. Congratulations to the following teams that were awarded I/I Start up and Enhancement funding and fundraising funds for 2018: The University of Ken- tucky, University of Idaho, University of Virginia, TCU, Texas A&M, Point Loma Nazarene, Georgetown, UCSB, USC- Aiken, University of Arkansas, Yale, Ore- gon State, USC, Stanford, Cal Poly, Emory, Skidmore, University of Texas, Oklahoma State, and Virginia Tech. Certified Polo Instructor Program Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Maryland, hosted a USPA Certification Field Test Oct. 26-28. Certifiers Paul Kuhn of Haviland Hol- low, and Erik Wright of Wrightway Polo, evaluated four instructors on their final phase of testing. The USPA is proud to announce the addition of Mike Denby of Arizona Polo Club, Kaycie Campbell of Garrison Forest, Eduardo Amaya of Houston Polo Club and Stephen Lit- tlechild of Toronto Polo Club to the CPI program. Have you just graduated from college with a desire to get involved in the polo industry? Do you want to learn more about running a club or polo school from knowledgeable professionals? If any of these sound like you, the USPA intern- ship program might be a great fit! We are here to help connect young aspiring polo professionals with success- ful clubs and managers. There are oppor- tunities available at various-sized clubs across the country for individuals with almost any level of experience. Team USPA New Team USPA members Grant Ganzi, Justin Daniels and Tony Calle are making the most of their fall season playing at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, Florida. Team USPA members Julia Smith, Geronimo Obregon, Remy Muller, Jesse Bray and Nico Esco- bar traveled to Argentina to train with Alfonso Pieres at Estancia Don Urbano. Mia Bray and Tiamo Hudspeth saddled up for the Women's Open and Handicap, respec- tively, in Houston, Texas, the first week of November.
