36 I/I MAGAZINE - 2019 most enjoyed the stories about the horses like how they were not allowed to trim the Queen's favorite horse's forelock because she wanted to do it herself on her next visit. We finally walked around the grand Knightsbridge Barracks living and dining area, covered wall to wall with paintings of the cavalry's past generals and their horses. It was far from the average London tour. On our first night on horses we had a practice game. The horses were solid and gave us confidence. British arena polo rules are slightly different and we had to adjust fast. If we could stay calm and learn the rules quickly, we knew we had a chance in the final game. The buzzer rang. After down 5-0 at the end of the first chukker, our team came back to tie The 2018 International Intercollegiate Team of Aaron Schneider (SKIDMORE), JT Shiverick (SMU), Ben Lynch (KENTUCKY), and Devan Groves (OK STATE) with I/I Director, Amy Fraser; increased the USA's record 4-2 in the annual series vs SUPA Britain. The team was able to take advantage of an afternoon in London and visited Buckingham Palace and the Queen's Mounted Life Guard Unit EMMPIX PHOTOGRAPHY
